Afternoon tea at Babbington Park with Annie Smithers and Nadine Ingram

Two of Australia’s most iconic chefs come together in an idyllic setting to chat to us about food, flavour, friends, kitchens, great memories and the importance of all of the aforementioned.

In Kitchen Sentimental Annie takes us on a journey through every significant kitchen in her life, both domestic and professional, sharing with engaging honesty her personal development, her surprisingly complex relationship with food, and the lessons she has learned along the way to find her culinary niche at Du Fermier in country Victoria.

Nadine Ingram of Sydney’s beloved baker, Flour and Stone and formerly of Bourke St Bakery, says ‘to be a cake maker is to be woven into the sweetness of people’s lives, to bake layers of love crumbs as an exploration of romance, adventure and comfort’.

Her new book, Love Crumbs, honours the places and experiences that have formed us with a creative and soulful collection of cakes that are steeped in nature. Grounded in expert guidance, Love Crumbs will be an essential addition to your cookbook shelf for its unique, surprising and often dreamy flavour combinations.

This will be an unmissable event that includes great conversation, afternoon tea prepared by Annie, a glass of prosecco amid the stunning landscape of Babbington Park and an opportunity to chat with both Annie and Nadine and get your book(s) signed.
